Musings of a retired teacher
Best wishes for a speedy recovery Dan.As it's raining and awfully blustery I am thankful that I didn't have to leave the house todayBut glad of a little letup in the rain, that enabled me to take the dog across the road to the park and chase balls.and Lastly I have been in the company of Peter Roget for the last hour and have to say he put together a mighty fine thesaurus!
And I hope you are better by the time you read this comment, but your blog made me grateful I'm not sick.
Delwyn,Thank you. I went in to school today, sniffling and sporting a muffler. Are you using a real thesaurus or one on the computer?
Mark, stay well. Don't catch my cold.
Oh the real one, I love to finger the paper...
Delwyn, good for you. I'd like to say I still use a real dictionary and thesaurus, but the truth is, they're on the shelf, getting dusty with disuse. (And I just checked with my online dictionary to make sure I used the word "disuse" correctly.)
