Gratitude: 3 Haiku

Gratitude’s Partner, Generosity
by Dan Gurney

Feeling gratitude
Feeling content and grateful
Feeling greatly full.

It’s like an in-breath
An inhalation: great, full
Full with life’s bounty.

For more, first exhale,
Give away our great fullness:

Note: Delwyn over at Hazy Moon commented that the treasures she finds on her walks are for sharing. Her posts seem both expressions of gratitude and gifts to her readers; they inspired this poem comprised of three linked haiku.

well I am happy to have provided the motivation for you to write your lovely Haiku x3.

I am so pleased that other people can share and appreciate what I see as treasures.

Thanks Dan you have made my day...

Today I am grateful for Dan's Haiku,

Haiku that remind me that I can share more...
and the more I share the happier I become...
and the more I give away the more I receive...

Delwyn, Thank you for your wonderful blog. It's always a delight. I'm glad you enjoyed the haiku.

B&B, Gratitude (or gratefulness) and Generosity: simply two (of many) facets of the same jewel, love.

Sarah Lulu, thanks. Still, I feel my imperfections keenly.

Thank you for leaving a comment. I visited your site, found it very interesting, especially the one about Linda Hamilton.

The world could use more people like her!

I'll be back to your blog.

That was lovely ... with just a few words, you were able to capture the essence ... the yin & yang ... of gratitude and generosity.

Your blog is wonderful ... I enjoyed your post on the hike in reverse ... and found the post on global warming quite informative. Thank you for following Reduce Footprints. I'm following you, as well, and will add you to my blog roll.
